Policies and Procedures

A comprehensive handbook, including our policies, safeguarding procedures, code of conduct, and other important information, will be emailed to you upon booking your first session. Please review the handbook carefully to ensure you are fully informed about our services and policies.

1.      Booking Confirmation and Communication

 

Once payment for a lesson has been received, a member of our team will be in touch to confirm the scheduling details and to appoint an appropriate tutor for your child. Communication regarding the session will be made via a phone call or through WhatsApp, which we frequently use for convenience and quick updates. Please ensure that your contact details are accurate and that you are available for contact through your preferred communication methods.


2. Refund and Cancellation Policy
All bookings made on The Tuition Box are final. We do not offer refunds once a session has been booked and confirmed. If you wish to reschedule your session, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to avoid the session being considered missed. Rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours prior to the session may not be accepted unless there are exceptional circumstances, in which case a refund may be considered at our discretion. 
Note: Refunds are only issued under exceptional circumstances and at the sole discretion of The Tuition Box.

3. Payment Policy
All sessions must be paid for at the time of booking. Payment methods accepted include [list accepted payment methods, e.g., credit/debit cards, bank transfer, etc.]. Once payment has been received and confirmed, your booking will be processed, and a member of our team will contact you to confirm the session schedule. Failure to complete payment may result in the cancellation of the booking.

4. Session Scheduling and Rescheduling Policy
Once your booking has been confirmed, a team member will contact you to finalise the session details, including the assigned tutor and login information. To reschedule a session, please contact us at least 24 hours before the scheduled time.

Requests made within less than 24 hours of the scheduled session may not be accommodated. Rescheduling is subject to tutor availability. We strongly recommend confirming session times and notifying us promptly if rescheduling is necessary.

5. No-show Policy
If a student fails to attend a scheduled session without providing notice, it will be considered a no-show. No refunds or rescheduling will be provided for no-shows. To avoid disruption, please ensure timely communication if you need to cancel or reschedule.

6. Privacy Policy
At The Tuition Box, we take your privacy seriously. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties outside of our business operations necessary to provide the services. Your personal data, including contact information and session details, will be handled securely and in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
